I am using historic images of Cairns supplied by the State Library of Queensland and the Cairns Historical Society in combination with the Historypin App to create an augmented-reality view of the history of the Cairns Central Business District and Port. My goal is that the Cairns Time Machine ™ will help to communicate some of these changes and offer a window into Cairns’ past.
