Sturmer History

We are collecting an ongoing archive of the history of Sturmer, Essex - a small village on the border of Suffolk and Essex near to Haverhill. We have been awarded a grant from the All Our Stories Heritage Lottery Fund to make a heritage trail and celebrate it with an exhibition and reinactments of the Victorian classroom. We are also doing oral history interviews, house histories and museum visits for school children.
