Steve Clifford

Steve Clifford

I love learning about history through old photographs. In the past I enjoyed flipping through "Memories of..." and "...Now and Then" books to see how our communities have changed over the decades. Historypin, with its Google Streetview integration, takes this to a whole new level. Best of all now I can share the photos and stories I've collected over the years.

My interests are varied although I'm especially curious about the local history of my hometown (Victoria, BC) and the communities I'm connected to through my family history research. I find vintage photos and ephemera, particularly those related to transportation, tourism and the First World War, fascinating and enjoy sharing them with others through Historypin and my various blogs and websites. If you have similar interests you can follow my regular updates through the Twitter link below.
