Flotsam

I'm intrigued when an old photograph from the other side of the world turns up in Victoria, buried in an album or at the bottom of box. It's like walking the beach and stumbling upon something that has washed up after a long journey across the Pacific.

This collection contains images that were captured overseas and then made the long journey, likely by ship and train, to Victoria BC many years ago. The photographers and their subjects are likely gone but their unique moment in space and time is pinned for posterity.
