As part of the We Are What We Do Suffolk campaign, Historypin is working with the Museum of East Anglian Lifeto uncover the history of Suffolk through the photos, video, recordings and stories of the people who live here.
By running a series of exhibitions, projects and events we hope to inspire local people to share in their common heritage, explore how their streets, cultures and lives have changed, learn from each other and develop lasting positive relationships.
By joining in and sharing your history you will be helping to create a comprehensive personal history of Suffolk and its communities for everyone to see on Historypin. This pilot project will become a model for further Historypin projects in the UK and across the world, so get involved and help us put Suffolk on the map.
If you have any photos or stories that you’d like to share, you can start pinning now.
Take a look at the images and stories that have already been uploaded onto the Historypin and start exploring the Suffolk’s history.
Keep an eye on this page for Historypin events in your area or let us know how you would like to get involved by contacting Tony Mudd on tony.mudd@wearewhatwedo.org.
