Bath was victim to the Baedecker Raids of 1942, where Britain's most picturesque towns and cities were targeted with a view to causing demoralising damage to our historic buildings. Bath was heavily damaged over the weekend at the end of April 1942. The images will appear in a book scheduled to be published in April 2012.
