Newport History Society's S.N.A.P. Photographic Project

Newport History Society have digitised their photographic archive, and uploaded it onto this web site.

S.N.A.P. stands for Shropshire Newport Archive Photographs.

The project was a Local Heritage Initiative lottery-funded project, which ran from 2005-2008, and has allowed us to scan in photographs, negatives and slides from Newport History Society's archives and also from local people. We are very grateful for these donated images.

We have digitised over 4,000 images, and we are still adding more.
